About Professor Timberclank
Professor Timberclank is a beaver, and there are very few things he believes are truly beyond repair. Practical, inventive, and happiest with tools close at hand, he oversees a workshop filled with wood scraps, paper, pigments, clay, half-finished constructions, and objects being saved because they may prove useful eventually.
He is a Kansas native who lived along the creek near the castle long before it was a school. When the ruined castle began its second life, Timberclank led the repairs, stabilizing crumbling walls and rebuilding what could be rebuilt, almost entirely from found materials. Much of the castle scholars walk through today stands because of his work.
He encourages scholars to learn by making, experimenting, repairing, and working with what they have. As Head of House Occidens, he brings that same steady resourcefulness to the Terrace. If you leave something unattended near his workshop, there is a reasonable chance it will return improved.
His Insignia and Seal
Professor — identifies a member of Evershade's teaching faculty.
Head of House — identifies the professor who oversees one of Evershade's four Houses.
His wax seal — Professor Timberclank seals his notes with brown wax. You will find them pinned throughout his lessons, and now and then elsewhere around the castle, often beside something in the middle of being mended.
