A pool is only water until people gather at it, and a house is only a name until it does things together. This thread is where Oriens decides what those things will be.
Dream generously first. A seed-and-cutting swap conducted entirely by post and photograph? A morning-pages circle, each of us writing at our own sunrise and reporting the hour? A great house read-along, one chapter a week, slow as honey? I would join every one, and I keep the greenhouse door open to better ideas than mine.
Post your wish here — an event, a tradition, a small recurring pleasure — and then help shape your housemates' wishes in the comments. When an idea has been properly grown by the house, we will send it in on the Plan an Event form, linked under the calendar on this page, and ready plans will be announced to the whole school — planned by Oriens in our season, and open to every scholar in the school when they happen. Every tradition in this house will start as somebody's comment. It might as well be yours.
